27 inch by 17 inch pothole, at least 2 inches in depth. Ardley Rd, Middleton Stoney, northbound carriageway, just after double white lines start.

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 16:53, Tuesday 4 November 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 hour, 8 minutes later

Work was carried out 2-3 months ago to lay something horizontally across the road and the works to fill in the gap has failed near the curb on the northbound carriageway leaving a large pothole and growing dip across the road. This presents a danger to cyclists who are likely to come off their bike. As lorries go over it, it is clearly catching their wheel & axel and creating a very loud 'bang' - could possibly be resulting in damage to their vehicles.
