Pavement width

This report has been closed without action but the width of pavement here is a big concern. - It is an unlit stretch of road, with significant pedestrian movements to and from the school and station. - Even when hedges are cut back the width is insufficient for a mobility aid or pram. - The traffic on the this stretch is fast moving and a risk to people forced to walk or wheel partly in the road.

Reported this path earlier in the year and again no action was taken is unacceptable considering that the pour upkeep of this path means that mud and grass and brambles has encroached on the original path width the important points to highlight here is that this is a 60 mile an hour Road with a very high bridge that can mean traffic is unable to see you so there is poor visibility I'm also noticing that people coming up from the train station are not always wearing clothing that he's easy to see in the dark so this is an urgent matter that should not be closed and ignored and whoever this is being passed to needs to be doing something about it because it's been nearly a year since I reported this as urgent!

The pavement is of poor quality for those using disability aids. With a train station at the end of this path and a nursing home en route, it needs serious rethinking to ensure safety for those trying to use the paths. I am happy to escort any representative from the council on this short walk from Kingham to the train station to demonstrate the issues, which include vegetation, weeds, overgrowth, cracks and lack of drop kerbs.
