Carriageway surface has failed in multiple regions along B4022 adjacent to Great Tew - accident witnessed this morning as a result

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 09:19, Tue 28 October 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Good morning, this morning two vehicles collided with each other on the B4022 north west of Great Tew. It appeared they were both trying to avoid potholes/broken road surface at the time and swerved into each other's path.

Please can you review and assess the road surface - from South of the Great/Little Tew crossroads, up past the Quarry and north to the top of Horse Hill - for replacement? Some of the potholes here are years old and the remaining road surface structure is failing. This is creating dangerous circumstances such as this mornings, on a NSL road.

Thank you!
