Grating is obviously loose and has opened, exposing a sharp metal edge, which is above the tarmac level. It is not drainage I believe, but some sort of utility. See photos.

  • Still open. Still a hazard. Missing ironwork lodged inside. Tyres hitting water ?mains outlet.

    Note that location is 100 metres East of shown tag, by the three oaks at the field boundary.
