Buses and HGVs mounting pavements due to using road that’s too small for big vehicles

Reported via mobile in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 18:15, Saturday 25 October 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

I would like to report a dangerous situation which is happening in a daily basis due to HGVs and buses Driving down a road that’s not wide enough for them to pass safely with other vehicles. It is a residential road with school children and pedestrians using the road on both sides and it has been made aware that this road hasn’t got a bus stop so they are using it essentially as a rat run. I would like to give you some photo graphs of a recent incident (attached above)

Many thanks looking forward to hearing a reply David Young Davidyoungbricklayers@gmail.com
