The school flashing warning signs are still not working.

I reported this in early September but they are still not working. There is another one the other side of the traffic chicane and the zebra crossing. I don’t think they have been working for a long time. As the dark morning and evenings are approaching it is very important they are fixed o warn drivers to slow right down on approaching the school. Thank you for repairing the Belisha beacons on the zebra crossing but these are very important also. The popularity of the school means that more people are both driving and walking to the school and I am bringing this to your attention again as a governor of the schools. Next week being half term would be the perfect time to complete these repairs. Many thanks

  • Thank you for your report. Our contractor did attend on 17.9.25 and re set the unit. They supplied an image of the unit working. I have raised a job for a further visit.
