Speed limit signage & no parking

Reported via mobile in the Traffic Signs category anonymously at 10:48, Tue 14 October 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There are no speed limit signage. This road is becoming a racetrack which is a concern as we have children playing. Would it be possible to put up some speed limit signage?

Also, we have lots of cars parking by the junction btw Keel Drive and A338 - is it possible to put up some parking restrictions to avoid an accident, which will surely happen if the practice continues.

  • State changed to: Investigating

  • Thank you for your report. These roads were approved and installed prior to the blanket 20mph policy and, at the time, OCC Highway Agreements Team insisted on the design of estate roads such as this being self-enforcing by asking for the design to be to MfS 20 mph guidance. OCC policy did not include mandating developers to apply for a 20mph TRO.
