"Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Oxfordshire County Council is not responsible for this issue, as this hedge line is a boundary feature of the development and is registered under them. This in turn means it is down to the developer to maintain and keep cut back. As this issue is not effecting the active highway we will not be taking an action. You can contact the developers directly with any complaints - VISTRY HOMES LIMITED ".

However, with respect: The sightline at this junction does not comply with the specification in 'Manual for Streets 2010 Pages 92 & page 93.

Please also refer to OCC letter. Ref: 3835:21. 15 December 2021: With regards to the maintenance of the visibility splays Oxfordshire County Council will keep any vegetation growing within the visibility splays maintained to an appropriate standard and will step in should the adjacent landowners fail to maintain the adjacent landscaping if it overgrows the visibility splays and becomes a safety issue.

Due to the wet weather early this year the hedging on the (Main) Barford Road has grown and is obscuring the the "Sight Line to the left hand side" when emerging from the (Minor junction) Golby Road OX15 4GX.

Note please OCC previous response: Council ref: ENQ24998710 Thank you for your report. We have concluded our assessment and closed this report. According to our information, this issue has now been resolved after contact with the developer for the area to attended and cut back the hedge line.
