Pavement drain blocked.
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The metal gutter that is meant to run across the pavement between numbers 11 & 12 has been tarmacked over and blocked. It has been like this for at least five years and it's causing damage to both my and my neighbours house as water runs beneath our houses rather than out onto the street.

Thank you for your enquiry. This sort of cross channel drain is part of the drainage from the adjacent properties, and as such, the maintenance falls to the property owner or occupier. I will raise a job to remove the tarmac which may have been left there from the resurfacing a couple of years ago. However, the general condition of the drainage is to be maintained by the owner.
