Uneven footpath- asphalt deteriorated

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 10:27, Thursday 9 October 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There are two significant dips in the path (leading to house numbers 32,34,36,38, 40 and 42). The damaged areas are outside front doors of 40 and 38 Queen Elizabeth Close causing trip hazard. Asphalt has sunk in one place (see photo) and is very uneven in another (near small ext water meter point). Some residents/visiting relatives are at increased risk of trips and falls and no other way to access property. It may not seem urgent from perspective in photo but this is an area where walking aids are used and cannot be left uneven- puts residents with limited mobility at risk of injury and lengthy hospital stays. This has probably not been repaired for over 20 years and has occurred slowly over time- it's been there for a couple of years but has now led to a near miss (fall).
