Open Reach or a telecoms contractor dug the road last week, presumably to fix a problem. They finished the work but left the surface in a poor state. After a few days the traffic have displaced the tarmac used to resurface the hole against the kerbstone with the backfill soil exposed. If this isn’t addressed by Highways with the Open Reach or telecoms contractor the cost of repair will become the problem of the council and taxpayer. This is massively unacceptable workmanship and needs addressing
