Damaged Traffic Calming Measures

Reported via mobile in the Highway Schemes category anonymously at 15:11, Fri 3 October 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There are two traffic calming measures on Daventry Road, Banbury. 1 One, nearest to Burchester Place has had its "keep right" sign obscured, making it even more likely to be subject to collision by a vehicle. Its overall design and poor condition makes it an accident waiting to happen 2 The other, nearer to the roundabout at Manor Road, was damaged in an RTA several weeks ago, making what was an accident waiting to happen (because of its poor design and overall condition) a potentially more serious accident waiting to happen as it hasn't been repaired.

Both these features are more dangerous as the days shorten and the hours of darkness lengthen, due to poor visibility and design, that need resolving and at least urgent repair
