  • The visibility has got progressively worse exiting the high street over the years, due to the owners allowing the hedge to grow significantly over the width of the wall. Us members of the parish have the right to a safe exit onto the main road, and the owner should be held responsible for the dealing with it. I understand the owners have already been served with an obstruction notice, but no action to physically return the hedge to its correct line is ever followed through. An annual trim is never going to solve the problem long term. It’s time the county council stepped in and actually did something about it, before there’s an accident.
