Nobody seems to care about this bridge. I wonder how many councillors and local government employees cross this bridge each day and fail to notice, let alone report, the appalling neglect.

This is an image dated May 2025 from Google Earth. The exact location is 51°42'34.42" N 1°25'01.31" W. As you can see, the entire pathway is obstructed by years of overgrown vegetation. A pedestrian has no choice but to walk in the narrow carriageway. Further, the roots of the tree are expanding cracks in the bridge and have enjoyed another full season of growth since I first reported this problem.
