Overgrown vegetation preventing water getting to drains

Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 12:25, Thu 25 September 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The vegetation is so thick along the side of the road that the water is pushed back on the road away from the drains, so runs all the way down the hill. There are probably drains obscured by vegetation along the road also (I dug one out, but probably missed others)

  • This road isn't busy with traffic, but does get used a LOT by pedestrians, cyclists and horse riders. This situation has been ongoing for a few years, so the road surface is suffering, and whenever it dips below freezing, it turns into a skating rink
