Pavement left dangerously uneven by Gigaclear
Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category by Emma Horwill at 10:44, Thu 18 September 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The pavement outside No 25 has been left dangerously uneven after Gigaclear dug up to lay new cables around a year ago. This was after we had lovely fresh new pavements laid. This patch is a severe bump along the pavement and is dangerous for people walking and uneven for pushchairs etc. The owners of 25 also have to drive over the hump to enter their drive. In the dark it is extremely hazardous and I have twisted my ankle due to this bump. Can it please be inspected and corrected, thank you.

It was not Gigaclear who left the pavement in a poor state, they did a good job. It was Virgin Media who dug it up after it had been resurfaced and left it in a dangerous state.
