Verge has been pushed back into ditch

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Someone has levelled the verge pushing the soil into the ditch and blocking it. Blocking a ditch is a criminal offence. This blockage will result in flooding as water cannot flow

  • Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Oxfordshire County Council is not responsible for this problem as ditches/water channels are down to the riparian land owners to maintain and keep clear. If you feel this is causing pooling or flooding issues, you can report it to your local District Council under a Land Drainage issue. Kind regards
