Water ponding in road outside 38/40 High Street.

Water is accumulating in the road outside 38/40High Street because a part resurface (in approximately 2023) which has affected the level and drainage. This has made my property vulnerable to flooding and a heavy rain shower today caused water to nearly enter my property. I have previously reported this issue see references ENQ22938923-ENQ23942738-ENQ23979626. This problem will not be fixed by the recommendations in the Section 19 Flood Investigation Report of the flooding on 23rd September 2024.

    Thank you for your email reference 3991762

    I have attached copies of photos of the ponding issue taken in November 2022 from my original report ENQ22938923.

    I do not have any more recent photos because it is impossible to avoid being soaked by the passing traffic driving through the water and to make sure that the water doesn't come into my house. This is what it looks like every time we have heavy rain showers but not on 23rd September 2024 when we had major flooding in the High Street.

    The level of the road and the drainage has not been corrected since the minor road works that created the problem in 2022.
