  • Thank you for your report. I understand your concerns regarding the water ponding issue. This situation arises due to the sheer volume of water that falls during a heavy shower, overwhelming the drainage system temporarily. However, once the rain stops, the water usually subsides quite quickly.
    Our gully schedule has already commenced, and Thame is scheduled for the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, we are unable to alter this schedule as there are numerous areas across the county that require attention. Please visit our website and find the Flood Toolkit which maybe useful. However, this road will be monitored during routine inspections. We appreciate your vigilance and encourage you to report any future highway concerns.
