Severe flooding at junction of brook/high/church street
Reported via desktop in the Flooding on Road category anonymously at 14:06, Wed 3 September 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
No only has the bank collapsed outside of the church next to Cross Trees Cottage, causing the drains to no longer work but the entire road and frontage to the cottage and garage now flood with water reaching all the way to the listed cottage. Flooding due to poor water management from blocked drains needs to be resolved to prevent damage to the listed building. The entire front portion of the garage forecourt is also inaccessible. Flooding due to rain water always occurs and it is getting worse each time it rains.
