Metal fatigue due to no paint on the first metre of the lamp post

The lamp post is suffering rust and deterioration due to most of the paint up the first metre has come off over time. This was part of a very recent report that says it’s fixed. well the damaged door has been inspected and banded but the paintwork element still has not been addressed. It needs treatment and repainting
