HS2 Traffic Lights Malfunction

The lights here keep malfunctioning (or not well setup). This morning queue towards Bicester from Finmere back to service station. Staying red for 5-10 mins. Queue towards Buckingham was 3 cars. This has happened three times in the last month that I know of. HS2 fob this off as drivers fault as people run red lights (probably due to extreme frustration). I didn't see anyone run the red today though. HS2 don't seem to care but this is not right.
