Blocked ditches

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

OCC sucked clear the road drains last week for which thank you. However they have simply moved the spoil in to the adjacent ditch which is where the drains feed in to and which are critical to take away flood water. This blocks the outflow pipes for the road drains and exacerbates flood risk. It’s ironic as SODC took action against the landowner for blocking this same ditch ! In summary it’s made the risk of flooding worse than before. Can OCC please come back Immediately and clear the ditch. I am happy to show anyone the problem .

A permanent repair is already scheduled and will be carried out once access is resolved. There’s no need to submit an additional report, as the follow-up works are already logged in our system.
