Poor condition of carriageway on B4019
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category by Anthony Field at 09:25, Friday 22 August 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 hour, 8 minutes later
The B4019 road from Faringdon to Coleshill is in very bad condition, with many bumps and potholes, especially the stretch from Badbury Hill to Coleshill. The road is so rough that it almost shakes my car suspension to pieces. It is noticeable that the condition of the B4019 improves once the county boundary has been passed over the River Cole towards Highworth, Evidently, Swindon Borough Council care more about this part of the country than Oxfordshire County Council. The same could be said of many of the minor roads in SW Oxfordshire,
