The warning bollard has been hit by oncoming traffic and is no longer effective as well as the two bollards after the smashed one. So no warning to vehicles and the speed of vehicles is extremely fast. Should be 30 mph.

Your message We’ve recently moved into The Cottage, reading Road, Upton, Oxfordshire OX11 9HP. Our house backs directly onto the 417. The speed limit is 30 but traffic moves through at a much faster speed than 30 ( sometimes50/60 and more). we’re on a sharp concealed bend and the highways bollard to guide/warn traffic of the curve has been hit several times and is no longer effective. I’ve taken a photo. It needs another sign/bollard as well as speeding being a big issue with people crossing the busy 417 to walk/cycle/run onto the Downs and to go to the George Pub. The two bollards after the smashed one are also obscured resulting in none of the three warning bollards being effective.
