This pot hole is now huge and very deep. Please fix asap. Also the road between there and emmer green is in a really bad state. Particularly by the cottages.

This pothole is now very large, and deep, with sharp edges. This is a major risk to road users. Cycling home from work yesterday evening, not at high speed (c10mph), I managed to hit this pothole. Both wheels were damaged and tyres punctured, and the impact caused me to fall off and injure my elbow.

This pothole is now extremely dangerous - hitting it could result in a car being written off, or a serious injury to passengers- let alone what could happen to a cyclist. It is filled with water and with more rain could be rendered invisible within a larger shallow puddle. It is 70cm plus in diameter, and 15cm deep. This pothole is clearly caused by a unfixed, and longstanding water leak which has been eroding the road surface and subsoil. These are the conditions that can lead to much larger sinkholes appearing. Simply filling the pothole will not cause the larger problem to go away. A serious investigation of the leak and potential damage to subsoil over a larger area is now urgent.

The reported pothole has now been patched. However another has appeared nearby at the junction. Smaller but deep.
