Drain blocked with straw and mud

The drain is heavily blocked with straw and mud. Following the recent report on December flooding this was identified as one of the causes for localised flooding. It has occurred again and need to be remedied ahead of the winter & periods of heavier rainfall.

This was first noticed around a week ago - I have tried to unblock but it is too heavily blocked.

    Minor rain, but the drain is fully blocked and filling. This needs remedying ahead of the winter.

  • 2 months later with no apparent progress - it would appear other drains were visited but not this one.

    As we come into winter this needs remedying as a matter of urgency.
