Failed road surface version 2
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 13:15, Tuesday 5 August 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Apparently my previous report was closed, with no action being taken.
I suggest you do your job and investigate this properly. In fact, drive down the entire A41 from Bicester to Aylesbury and take note of how many issues there are. The road is not fit for purpose and the entire thing needs to be resurfaced, properly, not some pathetic excuse that involves tar and stones, that inevitibly wears off after 5 minutes.
It is likely that HS2 construction vehicles using this road have caused most of the damage, why not ask them for some money to fix it, they seem to have plenty.
