Drain was blocked per attached photo taken the day after road flooding

The drain is blocked and the outlet for the drain is totally blocked. Water has no where to go other than down my drive. Had I not been home the house would have flooded. I need an on site meeting with council authority to discuss avoidance plan as this continues to happen every year

  • Thank you for bringing the drainage issue at Horespond Road to our attention. We truly appreciate your proactive approach in helping us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Kidmore End and Whitchurch is scheduled for gully emptying in the first/second/third/four quarter of this financial year (Months). All Highway Surface Water Assets in the area are planned to be thoroughly cleansed within this timeframe. Please note that this is a proposed timescale and may be subject to delays due to severe weather conditions or resource availability.
