Flooding under bridge

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There needs to be better drainage. Heavy rain had stopped and an hour later there was lots of water on the road. Had to drive up on the path to get through. Causing tail backs of traffic and could damage cars! There should be better drainage.

We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Watchfield and Shrivenham is scheduled for gully emptying in the first/second/third/four quarter of this financial year (Months). All Highway Surface Water Assets in the area are planned to be thoroughly cleansed within this timeframe. Please note that this is a proposed timescale and may be subject to delays due to severe weather conditions or resource availability.
