  • Thank you for your report. I have investigated this issue. The person you observed undertaking work on the tree was removing branches that were damaged when the large primary limb failed. The tree will be inspected to ensure that it is either suitable for retention, with further tree care operations where necessary, or unsuitable for retention, necessitating removal. If it is necessary to remove the tree, the site will be assessed for suitability for a replacement tree. We appreciate your vigilance and encourage you to report any future highway concerns.
