Most gutter drains in road blocked. The one outside my house-no 12 - has been blocked since I moved in - 1996 - and has been reported at least 3 times. Workmen have marked the pavement as to where they think the blockage is, but nothing further has ever been done.

  • Thank you for bringing the drainage issue at Hendread Way to our attention. We truly appreciate your proactive approach in helping us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Abingdon Dunmore is scheduled for gully emptying in the first/second/third/four quarter of this financial year (Months). All Highway Surface Water Assets in the area are planned to be thoroughly cleansed within this timeframe. Please note that this is a proposed timescale and may be subject to delays due to severe weather conditions or resource availability.
