Household allowing vegetation to cover bus stop and push pedestrians onto road

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Household need to be instructed to manage their vegetation or that it will be done for them at their cost. People have to walk in road, and the bus stop has now disappeared into the growth. Has been like this with no action all this growing season with no action

  • Adding to this report 07/08 - it’s not possible to safely walk down this footpath without needing to step into the road. The bus stop is not visible and it’s hard to get off the bus when it stops here.

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
