Footpath has been boarded up, and no one knows why
Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 14:27, Tue 15 July 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The footpath between Godstow Road and Webbs Close has been boarded up. No notice as to why, or who did this, or for how long for. This pathway is a very handy shortcut for cyclists, dog owners, pedestrians - including the elderly. Can someone advise what is going on and when the footpath will be in use again? Thank you

The boards were put up 6 weeks ago as apparently St John's own the wall, and it's been deemed hazardous, so have instructed repairs. However no repairs have yet taken place, no signage has been put up either and as a resident no information has been posted through our door as to what is happening. When will the work take place? When will it be reopened?
