18 inch pothole in middle of roadway

This pothole has been here for a number of months and poses a significant issue for drivers due to its location in the roadway,

  • Have spoken to Oxfordshire parking enforcement today and they have confirmed that they enforce the parking time limited parking bays along the WHOLE length of John Garne Way, including the highway bordering the allotments and within which the pothole is located. That being so the Council must be responsible for the highway and not Brooks as it claimed, untherwise you could not impose nor enforce parking along this stretch of highway. That being so do something about the pothole before a serious injury takes place. The exact location of the pothole is perhaps further down the road than marked on the map, nearer to the EL Sub Sta marked. The marked parking bays run from the substation to the end of the road just prior to where it turn right into Brooks campus.
