Roots from tree making pavement dangerous

Roots from a neighbours tree are causing the path and road on Windmill Avenue to be dangerous. It is not safe for pedestrians, particularly those with wheelchair or pushchairs.

  • As you can see it is getting worse and causing major safety issues. Cars are driving on the other side of the road to avoid and pedestrians are tripping

  • The tree root problem continues to deteriorate. It causes cars to swerve to avoid the bump causing danger to oncoming traffic. The pavement is a trip hazard and difficult for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

  • The road outside No.3 Windmill Avenue needs urgent attention and I mean urgent attention. I was close to a head on collision driving down Windmill Avenue towards Buckingham Road by a car on the wrong side of the road trying to avoid the massive hump in the damaged road.
