Hedges encroaching on public footpath
Reported via mobile in the Hedges category anonymously at 13:58, Fri 11 July 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
Some hedges are being trimmed back but still only leaving half the width of the footpath to walk along with no pavement on the other side of the road in some places. The path is getting narrower and narrower year on year and is no longer wide enough for two people to pass each other, making it particularly difficult for parents with pushchairs and those with mobility support aids.

Judging from the pics, one of these is near the dropped pin, the other two appear to be close to the Woodlands Rd junction.

Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
