At the entrance to the path from the Motte, which leads to Kingston close/and or Boxhill, there are no barriers as there are on many other pathways in the area. This pathway is used by may children on their way to school etc as well as the elderly. It is noticeable that there has been an increase in bikes, e-bikes, e-scooters and often motorbikes/scooters using this pathway. Surely it is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt as they come round the corner of the lane sometimes at great speed. Is it possible to have some sort of barrier erected to slow/stop these people, so they have to dismount? I assume that any barrier would allow easy access for mobility scooters and prams etc.
