Location: Alongside Long Lane in Oxford City, just north of the Eastern Bypass Ring Road (What3words: ///ants.tame.limes)
Description: This report concerns missing bollards at the above location along Long Lane in Oxford City. The bollards are intended to restrict vehicular access to a green space adjacent to the road. Unfortunately, a number of these bollards are now missing, which has increased vehicular accessibility to the space.
Historically, when these bollards have been absent or damaged, the area has been used by cars and transient communities, which has led to mess, antisocial behaviour, and general disruption to the local community. Their presence is an important preventative measure to protect this space from misuse.
This report is being submitted on behalf of a local resident, who has previously reported this issue multiple times but remains frustrated as the issue persists. The resident has been informed that the problem has been resolved, although the bollards are still missing.

Could a member of the highways or maintenance team please attend the site, verify the missing bollards, and ensure they are replaced as a matter of urgency to prevent further misuse of the space?
Your attention to this ongoing issue is greatly appreciated by the residents and wider local community.
Thank you.
