This tree is far too large for its surroundings. Overhanging road and ivy clad. Requires urgent attention. Pollarding at least. Reported already and authority incorrectly stated its homeowners responsibility. If fact having checked with land registry it is definitely on council land. Please don’t abdicate your responsibility.

Following their investigation into the location of this tree, I can confirm that historical mapping shows this tree to part of a boundary hedge and is consequently a boundary feature to the land adjacent to the highway.
