The verges along all of Denchworth road are disgusting, unkept and wild. more importantly they are now a fire hazard due to the hot weather. If a fire started along the road it would quickly spread to the wooden fences and trees and could damage houses. I do not accept the wilding of the verges helps wildlife as the road pollution must hurt the insects as much as humans and to be honest Wantage is rural so doesn't need this. This is an easy cost saving and shows Wantage as a third world town. I hope the council have adequate insurance in the event of a fire.
