We have just had a serious downpour in Wheatley. People reported flooding o Holloway Road. I walked along the road & found 3 drains that were no functioning leading to surface water flooding down into High St. In the light of our serious flood in 2024 I expect this to be cleared ASAP & will be reporting it to our Councillor.

  • Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue at Ladder Hill to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Wheatley is scheduled for gully emptying in the fourth quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
