Vegetation significantly overgrown on cycle path
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation & maintenance category by Paul Turnpenny at 14:28, Sat 5 July 2025

The vegetation overgrowth is getting worse on this narrow cycle and pedestrian path. I cycle to Milton Park most days and it is becoming very dangerous. Particularly if cyclist or pedestrians are obstructed into the road very fast moving traffic and HGV’s are frequently present. Not good enough for the largest employment base in South Oxon, with a council claiming to promote active travel. Please fix urgently.

This vegetation is still causing a problem. Whilst the council have cleared the vegetation on the path, it is the overgrowing vegetation that is a danger. I believe this is Network Rail's responsibility.

If this is still an issue, if possible and safe to do so, could you please provide any new images and detailed location information of the issue so we can get this raised for repair faster. Many thanks and kind regards

Whilst the ground level vegetation has been cleared, the overhanging branches (which I believe are the responsibility of Network Rail) are still an issue and very dangerous.
