Drain Blocked/Not Functional

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The drain is non functional and water flows from the road into my driveway which has caused severe flooding at my property- it has been under repair construction work since September 2024. I have reported this issue countless times and have STILL not received a response, after years of complaints. Please respond urgently, the work is due to complete and I want to ensure that my property will not flood again.

  • Thank you for proactively bringing the drainage issue at Green Road to our attention. Your vigilance helps us maintain the quality of our highways. We are pleased to inform you that the Parish or Town of Kidlington South is scheduled for gully emptying in the fourth quarter of this financial year. While severe weather may cause delays, we are committed to thoroughly cleansing all Highway Surface Water Assets in the area within this timeframe.
