Unmaintained Vegetation on NCN cycle lane bridge.

Reported via iOS in the Vegetation & maintenance category anonymously at 18:33, Fri 4 July 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There is vegetation growing all over the entrance to this bridge. Unchecked it could damage the bridge and render the whole Wantage to didcot ncn cycle route unusable.

More presssingly it really cuts visibility down and we can only use about 40% of the bridges width. This could easily result in a collision as if you are on the bridge, you can’t be seen by cyclists coming down the hill from Harwell. This cycle lane is a great resource for active travel. Why is it never maintained. How does leaving it to nature to take it over encourage cycling and active travel?
