Damaged pedestrian walkway barrier in central island crossing on A4074 / Portway

Reported via mobile in the Footways and Pavement damage category anonymously at 08:48, Fri 4 July 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

Motorcyclist exited road and hit the pedestrian barrier (see other reported problems about lack of road signage that signals you’re in a 30 mph zone). The barrier is now unsafe and would provide no protection to a pedestrian should another vehicle hit this barrier. My belief is that this is a serious breach of safety protocols and needs to be repaired as soon as possible.
