Hedge still overhanging

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

The hedging extends well over 3 ft over the property line and completely prevents use of the pavement. I have to walk over muddy grass in winter which is slippery and push a pushchair in the road.

This has been a persistent issue for the last 4 years.

  • Thank you for your report. Landowners and occupiers are responsible for maintaining any boundary features on their property that adjoin public highways and affect highway safety. In this case, the highway appears to be impacted, so we will contact the land/property owner. If necessary, further action will be taken.
