GIANT potholes - numerous !!

Reported via desktop in the Footways and Pavement damage category by Samantha Marcham at 18:07, Sun 22 June 2025

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later

There are many large potholes outside our home- due to the lack of parking on Main Street, and the road going into single file nearby, every single delivery driver, ambulance and the postman, pull up and park here daily to do their deliveries. The holes are now so bad, in the last month alone it has caused 3 events for just my family: 1) my daughters wheel got stuck in the hole, then she skidded trying to get out, and lurched out into the open road accidentally. 2) my partner tripped in it and fell over when walking the dog. 3) the holes are now so deep my son's car got scraped along the bottom. These holes are a danger to everyone walking past, and are getting so deep they are making our home inaccessible

  • I ask again for the potholes in Bensgrove Close, Woodcote (RG8 0SJ) to be repaired. The road is atrocious. I also ask you to consider the quality of work in repairing potholes in Lackmore Gardens which is the next street. The work is shoddy, looks awful and will almost certainly be undone this winter. May I suggest that an officer visits these streets.
