Footpath alongside morrisons Car Park overgrown
Reported via desktop in the Hedges category anonymously at 14:58, Friday 20 June 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
The footpath that runs alongside the Morrisons Car Park is an OCC responsibility and has been allowed to become so overgrown that there are some parts that even on person can barely get past. The bushes are encroaching onto the path up to half way in and there are tree branches that are hanging so low you have to either duck or walk around them.

Since my complaint it appears Morrisons have trimmed some of the bushes on their side. However as you can see from the photos, this does not make the footpath any wider and still means only one person can pass through at certain points. The trees also need cutting back.
Also, at the top of the path there is a tree that has partially fallen down and is blocking the way.

There has still been no acton here ... Morrisions have done their bit but the local authority is taking no action. Now that the path to the station has been reopened this path is used regularly by citizens including lone females, children and the disabled. Their has been a total lack of attention to this for several years
