Multiple holes in the lay-by along Thame road.
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:10, Fri 20 June 2025
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later
This arose last night after a large vehicle had a flat tyre and was parked for multiple hours whist the tyre was repaired. This has now made multiple holes in the lay-by on the main road and also causes issues with properties getting in and off the driveway. We can also see that blocks of wood have been left in the hole.

There is not really anything surrounding as it’s a main road/ lay-by infront of houses. We tried to include the rope swing opposite but due to the sun it’s hard to see so please also see some images of the road. I don’t feel comfortable adding my address so the location is the lay-by along Thame Road outside houses 111,113,115.

Can I also note that the drain on the main road is also becoming dangerous to drivers. It seems that it may be collapsing as when driven over you can hear the cars going over it. It is no longer flat and is sinking. It will become a point where the ground will eventually give in especially due to the amount of traffic that passes over it.
